Betty Virginia (Forner) Ulm passed away peacefully Monday June 18, 2018, at the age of 90 at Country Elegance assisted living in Ravenna, Ohio. The family would like to thank all of the wonderful caregivers from Country Elegance (Terry, Jen, Kelly, and Dora) for the wonderful care they provided.
Betty was born on March 6, 1928, in McConnellsburg, PA. She was the daughter of Ira Judson and Grace Alice (McQuade) Forner.
She married the love of her life, Lester H. Ulm on October 22, 1955. Lester passed away June 7, 2015. Also preceded in death were her parents Ira and Grace and her siblings Thelma, Helen, Harold, Robert, Donald, Merle, Ira Paul, and Clifford.
Betty is survived by her sons Brian Ulm, Gary Roswell and her daughter Sandra (Andreas) Stegh. Grandchildren Andrea (Brent) Loebick, John Stegh, Rosemarie Fox, Kathy (David) Danner, Carrie (Aaron) West. Great grandchildren Brandon & Bryce Loebick, Katelyn & Connor Fox, David & Jessica Danner, Austin, Kylee and Tyler West. Niece Cheyenne (Doug) Samco as well as many more nephews and nieces.
Betty and Lester enjoyed life and their family. Betty loved hosting parties and gatherings for family and friends, and she also loved creating arts and crafts. For 15 years, they both enjoyed February visits with their son in Monrovia, CA to take in the sights and escape a bit of winter. Rest in peace mom, with dad and with your parents.
Friends and family will be received Saturday, June 23, 2018, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM with a funeral service officiated by Pastor David Ballert at 12:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.
