Betty Mary Spannuth

March 6, 1925April 25, 2021

Betty Mary Spannuth, 96 of Reading, passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Tower Health - Reading Hospital.

She was predeceased by her husband U.J. Spannuth

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Harry C. Rudy, Sr. and Ethel (Knicely) Rudy.

She was employed for 30 years with the former Western Electric company until retiring.

Betty is survived by her sisters: Carol Gromis of West Lawn and Arlene Hartz of Exeter Township. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her brothers, Harry C. Rudy, Jr. and Charles Rudy.

Betty emulated light, love, friendship, and family. Her quick wit, generosity, and quiet advise was beyond measure. Even in her older years, Betty had a playful zest for life. She lived for her family, and enjoyed them immeasurably.

Services and inurnment in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township will be private at the family's convenience. Theo. C. Auman, Inc. Funeral Home, Reading is in charge of arrangements.

I will always remember how we went out to breakfasts and how you and uncle U.J. taught me how to play pinochle which I play once a week to this day. We both liked going to the casino. RIP sweet lady. Love Kathy and Jim
