He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy E. (Allen) Burky on September 4, 1994.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Daniel E. and Miriam E. (Ubil) Burky.
Donald was employed as a Superintendent with the former Baldwin Brass Company for 26 years until retiring in 1991 and was a longtime member of Glad Tidings Church.
He is survived by his sons, Kevin Burky of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Randy Burky of Reading. Also surviving are his grandchildren Danny Burky and Selina Gregory and his great granddaughter Margaux Gregory.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 10:30 am in Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, 1110 Snyder Road, Reading, Pa. Friends and family may view on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 at the church. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton. Auman’s, Inc. Funeral Home, Exeter Township is in charge of arrangements.
