Jean Elizabeth Price

Jean Elizabeth Price 86, of Reading was called home on Friday August 24, 2018 in Tower Health Reading Hospital. She was born in Reading on July 4, 1932 a daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Brown) Price. She was a member of Bethel Community Church of Pottstown where she was also a Sunday School teacher. She tutored children to read, loved to travel, visit restaurants, and enjoyed casinos, especially Atlantic City. Jean was employed by Textile Industry, then Berks Heim as a CNA and becoming an RN working at Norristown VA Hospital. Surviving is her 2 sons, Dennis L and his wife Jennifer Price of Reading, Michael S Price of Harrisburg, her daughter, Michelle Jones widow of Thomas Jones of Reading, brother Charles Jr and his wife Bertha Price of Harrisburg, 2 sisters; Dawn (Price) wife of Vernon Burton of San Francisco, CA., Barbara (Price) Jones of NY., 3 grandchildren; Aretha Price, Salisha Justice, Angel Simmons, 6 great grandchildren; Whitney Button, Ethan Staples, Rahasha Yehl, Daiquen Price, Ron Wilson III, Travontai Davis, 2 great great grandsons; Javon Wilson and Julius Price, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. Jean was predeceased by her 5 siblings; MaryJane (Price) Ross, Peggy Price, Carol (Price) White, Donald J Price Sr and Billy Price. Home Going Services will be Saturday September 1, 2018 at 11am in Bethel Community Church of Pottstown, 575 N Keim St., Pottstown PA 19464. Private burial in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
