Juanita Lynette Florence, 62, of Jonesboro, GA went to be with her Lord and Savior, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, April 30, 2021. Born February 28, 1959 in Reading, PA she was a cherished daughter to Annie (Haynes) Ingram and the late Cleve Ingram Jr.

Juanita was a Reading High School graduate, class of 1977. She attended Millersville University, Atlanta Clark College and earned her bachelor's degree in Social Work from Georgia State University in 2016. Juanita was a very intelligent woman and continued her studies throughout her life. She was even accorded special recognition for her academic work in Marquis's Who's Who.

Juanita was a senior financial advisor with Primerica Financial Services for over 30 years. She left the corporate world to pursue her passion—helping others—by becoming a gifted social worker with tremendous humility; working for the Clayton County Division of Family and Children Services, Jonesboro, GA. Juanita was a strong advocate for disadvantaged youth and had a passion for helping people that few possess – she was selfless, thoughtful, and talented, and made a difference in the lives of many, young and old.

Juanita was always engaged in current events and politics and was a member of The Democratic Party of Fayetteville, GA. She was an avid reader who enjoyed nature walks, traveling, attending concerts, playing card games, good food, going to amusement parks and listening to praise & worship music.

She will be remembered as a beautiful, bright, dignified, kind and compassionate woman. She leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.

Juanita's spirit will be carried on by and is survived by her mother Annie (Haynes) Ingram, of Reading, PA; husband Morgan Florence, of Atlanta, GA; son Quentin Florence, of Jonesboro, GA ; brother Shawn Ingram, of Temple, PA; sister Loretta Woollery, of Mebane, NC and godson Chris Jones III, of Reading, PA. My thoughts and deepest sympathy are with the family during this time of mourning. May God grant to you His perfect peace, grace love, and comfort your hearts as you grieve for your love one.

Ms. Juanita was a very loving, caring and kind hearted person. She wore a smile even though everything was not well. She would be greatly missed as a co-worker and friend.
Sometimes we wonder why people with such great heart , leave this world so soon, but we also know that God knows best.

Condolence to Juanita family, I knew her as Bunchie since our Reading High School days. Bunchie was always kind and very sweet. I haven’t seen her in a few years but the last time we did see each other the catch-up conversations were as if we had talked every day, the laughs will always bring a smile to my face.

Rest Peacefully Juanita (Bunchie)!

Ms. Juanita was such a sweet beautiful soul who’s time here was cut very short. She was one of the first people who helped me as a case manager my first year working at DFCS and did up until she left the agency. She was always kind and full of knowledge while always extending a helping hand. She will truly be missed.

Mrs. Juanita was a very loving and kind woman. I'm forever thankful for having the opportunity to have been in her presence for several years. She was a woman of distinctive character and class like none other. Mrs. Juanita was always willing to put a smile on other's faces providing support wherever she could, even when she was not feeling her best. She was a teacher, mentor, mother figure and advocate for many of us here at Clayton County DFCS. She will always be remembered for the lunch dates, and many chats around the office. She made a positive impact in the lives of the families throughout the county and staff here.

Rest in Heaven Angel, "Mrs. Juanita Florence"

People come into our lives for a reason, season or a lifetime. Though I wasn't in contact with Bunches since our high school days, hearing about her passing filled me with memories of her laughter and just hanging out being girls becoming young women. My deepest sympathy to her family and friends. May her spirit be released into peace and the grace of God!

Juanita and I had many talks together sharing fond anecdotes over caring for our elderly parents. She always had a story of her and her mom daily routine that made her smile and made me miss my own mother. I could tell she loved the time spent with her mom when she visited Georgia. I came to love and admire Juanita's soft spoken, sweet spirit and her kind heart. As her supervisor she was very willing and caring to do the work of Social Service. All of the staff appreciated her service to our Department and Families. She would be truly missed.
