Adolph was a very kind, very sweet gentleman.  I have lived two doors down from Al and Angie since 1999.  In 2015, we had a new roof put on our home, and both Al and Angie stopped by on more than one occasion to admire the work.  On one such visit, Al proclaimed that HE would be putting a roof on his house in the not too distant future, and Angie  told me later that she was thinking of shipping him off two his daughters house while she had the work done by contractors.  We laughed about this because Angie and I both knew that there was NO WAY Al could do the roof himself (but there was no telling Al that). It was one trait I deeply admired (and will deeply miss) about Al.  He always managed to live life in his own way no matter what anyone said about it.  Through the years, from my kitchen and office windows, I often observed Al and Angie walking together hand in hand...and I've always admired (and strived for) that long-lasting love between them.  To the entire Massa family, my thoughts and prayers are with you.  Al was such a character and such a blessing to know in the short time I knew him.  I can only image the kind of light he brought to each of your lives.  May thoughts of him never be far from you heart.
