Antoinette Grace Dorsch was born August 19, 1921 in Detroit, Michigan to the late John and the late Minnie LaBrosse. She was one of three children. Antoinette passed away peacefully in her Detroit, Michigan home on Tuesday September 3, 2019 at the age of 98. Antoinette was under the gentle care of Residential Hospice.

Antoinette is survived by; daughter Diane (Robert) Patterson; and daughter Gail (William) Long.

Antoinette was preceded in death by her beloved husband George Dorsch, her loving parents John and Minnie LaBrosse, her son Paul Dorsch, as well as her brothers; John (Helen) LaBrosse, and LaVerne (Virginia) LaBrosse.

Antoinette was an avid Rummikub player (and winner!). She was always ready to go out to Buddy's for Greek pizza. As a young mother she enjoyed bowling and was very active with her husband George in the Knights of Columbus activities. Antoinette was a long-time member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church. She had a few career changes in her younger years; she was a bookkeeper, performed some secretarial work and was a courier. However, the career she was passionate about was caring for her family and friends. She simply loved being a wife and mother. She was a tiny lady with a giant heart of gold. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Antoinette's daughters will receive friends for a visitation on Sunday, September 8, 2019 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a 7PM Rosary Service at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 25450 Plymouth Road, Redford Township, Michigan 48239. (Just east of Beech Daly) The Rosary Service will be led by the Pastoral Associate of St. John XXIII Catholic Parish.

There will be a final viewing beginning at 10:00AM on Monday, September 9, 2019 at St. Valentine Catholic Church, 14181 Beech Daly Road, Redford Township, Michigan 48239. A funeral mass will begin at 10:30AM. The Funeral Mass will be led by Father Greg Piatt of St. John XXIII Catholic Parish. (Formerly St. John Bosco)

Antoinette will be laid to rest between her husband and son in Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, Southfield, Michigan.

Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared in the guestbook for the Dorsch family.

Joan & Greg Davis

September 6, 2019

Ann was a beautiful person we loved dearly. Always very kind and thoughtful she seemed especially proud of her beautiful collection of 'angels.' In my early grade school years she always made me feel at home and was like a second mother to me. More recently my husband Greg and I cherished visiting her and sharing stories about our early years.

The world won't be the same without her. She will be greatly missed by all. Ann and her entire family will forever be in our prayers.
