Born in Oak Park, IL, Norman was the son of Axel and Ragnhild Larson and grew up in Elmhurst, IL.
He served two years in the U. S. Marine Corps and earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
A Cement Masons Union member and construction foreman for 40 years in the Chicago area, Norman specialized in concrete bridge construction along with various other public and private projects.
After retiring in 2004 and moving to Redmond, WA in 2006, Norman and Barbara enjoyed living in the Trilogy Community and traveling. They attended Holy Innocents Catholic Church where Norman volunteered to assist with landscaping projects and weekly Food Pantry preparations.
Norman is survived by his three daughters, their spouses and nine grandchildren.
