Daniel Steven Eagle

Daniel Steven Eagle,68, of Leesport, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at Penn State Health - St. Joseph Medical Center. Born December 20, 1952 in Reading, PA he was a cherished son to the late Stanley and Verna (Ringler) Eagle.

Daniel was a Reading High School graduate, class of 1971. He was employed at Carpenter Technology for 32 years, until his retirement. Daniel was a faithful member of Bern Evangelical Lutheran Church, Leesport.

Daniel and his brother Gregory have fond childhood memories of attending the Olivet Boys & Girls Club and family trips to Wildwood New Jersey. In the 80's, he was an avid bowler, holding numerous titles in various leagues and tournaments. Daniel's most notable award was winning the Berks County Amateur Tournament Championship.

In his retirement, Daniel loved playing golf in Florida and looked forward to going to the Sunshine state every year. He also enjoyed swimming laps in his pool and driving his most prized possession, a 1969 Z28 Camaro; which he recently sold prior to his passing.

Daniel's spirit will be carried on by brother Gregory Eagle and his wife Denise; friends Robert and Tina Hissinger; niece Dawn Eagle; nephew Kyle Eagle and his wife Jessica; great niece Kinsley Eagle and 2 great nephews Brody Peter and Kole Eagle.

A viewing for Daniel will be held Tuesday, April 6, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Aumans Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd, Reiffton. Funeral service will promptly commence in the funeral home at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Phyllis Wolkenhauer officiating. Graveside committal will immedietly follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.

Remembering great times at their home at 622 Tulpehocken St in Reading when younger, Olivets Club, Ringler Relation Bungalow & Sunday breakfasts after Church with entire family, Camp Joy in summers, Baer Park, being a good Golfer & a good Bowler, spending summers at Sailfish Motel in Wildwood Crest New Jersey for many years, his parents Uncle Stan & Aunt Verna: rest in peace

Danny was a quiet sweet man. He was like family to the Hissinger's and the Boyers. He was kind and considerate. He will be missed by all. May he Rest In Peace and no more suffering. He is with our Lord. We love you Danny.

We were shocked when we read the obituary for Danny. Our condolences to his family and friends. We will miss Danny very much. He was a very good person and we enjoyed bowling with him on a Thursday night at Heisters. He will be sadly missed as a friend and fellow bowler.

Sorry to read about Danny`s passing, he was one of the easiest guys to get along with. We had a great time bowling together in the senior league at Hiester lanes. We were happy to get him on our team and unhappy when he had to quit for physical reasons. He will make heaven an even nicer place with him in it.

I did not know Dan that long. I got to know him when he bowled in our senior league at Heisters Lanes. Dan was a very pleasant person and I enjoyed chatting with him. May God Bless and rest in piece my friend.

My Deepest condolences to Danny's family and friends. He was a great bowler and such a wonderful friend. My fondest memories of Danny are bowling along side of him on Thursday nights at hiesters and of him winning the Amateur tournament. Glad I was there to see it.
