I personally experienced watching this modest, quiet, man transform into
a poised, confident , rocket-- armed softballer !He remained the friendly
Donny we all knew, but ,if you happened to be a batter, he would blow you
away----1..2..3.. you are out!

Being temporarily laid-up with back issues, and ice, I cannot personally honor a fine man I was privileged to know. DONALD was a very gentle, extremely kind individual-- ALWAYS giving the benefit of doubt to anyone and never passing judgment on anyone --for any reason-- the world will be a little dimmer without his light!

My Dad Chick would always take me to watch Donnie pitch for Charmers Corner softball team at 11th and Pike ball field.
Donnie was very respected by all the other teams players. You had to like Donnie, he was always having fun. He loved hunting and fishing and being with my Dad , myself , and all the other members at White Deer Hunting Camp. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. He will be remembered, by anyone who knew him.
