Ramona Jean Machel, 82, passed away in the early evening of February 17, 2021. She was surrounded by her loving family until the very end. Battling though a severe case of dementia over the last five years, she continued to be a beacon of light and matriarch to her beloved family. Family was everything to her and she was everything to her family. She will be missed deeply, but her memory will forever live on in each of us that knew her.
Ramona met the love of her life Darryl Machel in Santa Maria, California in 1961. They have been inseparable since that first day. Marrying in 1962 they made their way to Washington State a short time after in search of a good place to raise a family and build their careers.
