We would always talk seriously about life and career plans whenever we would be left alone in the room we share with the girls. We went to Boracay for a vacation and it was one of the best memories I had with you. It may be years since we last saw each other but we kept constantly in touch. We would always invite each other to our lives' milestone events but we always missed out. But it didn't mean we didn't care, it's just that life happened and got in the way. It took a while for me to approach you after hearing your diagnosis because I was partly in disbelief and didn't know what to say. But when I finally took the courage, I was in awe beyond words of how strong and hopeful and full of faith you were. You inspired me in a lot of ways and I'll never forget you. Fly high, our dear Deanna! You will always be in our hearts.

#throwback#

We were like cats and dogs in the project. Always debating and arguing about who’s work is it, ours (FTS) or theirs (Basis). We hated each other.

It was like that for quite a while. Until one day I asked her out. She was surprised as she did not expect that. The reason is, I like her feistiness and the ability to manage everything smoothly (at work and in personal). Plus, I like her mix of boyish and good sassy personality.

Long story short, we became a couple and people were a bit surprised from the office.

Oh well, this goes back to the saying “The more you hate, the more you love.”

I love you so much Deanna Palisoc. My heart is yours and it will forever be...
