Betty L. Minson

MINSON, Elizabeth L. “Betty Mae”, age 74, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 12th. She was preceded in death by her father, Bernard Allen Layne; and her mother, Virginia Mae Layne. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Warren. She is also survived by her brother, Allen Layne (Dottie); nieces, Jennifer and Shannon Layne; great-niece, Faith Layne; and many cousins and friends. A viewing will be held Monday, December 17, 2018, from 2 to 6 p.m., at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where a service will be held Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Betty’s honor to the National Kidney Foundation.
