Susan, I tried to post on here last week, and it didn't go through, but then after getting an email, I see I can post now! I wanted to share the memory I have of your mama.. and since I spent so many nights at your house with you in my youth, I have nothing but fond memories of your family. Your mom was always SO sweet to me. She laughed often and had a beautiful glow about her. She sewed so well, and when I made the cheer-leading team at Tuckahoe Jr High, she made my uniform. She had to cut it down from the pattern I remember, because I was so small back then, and she worked on it for days. She was committed to whatever she worked on. She loved it when your dad cooked on the grill and I remember eating a tasty chicken that we dipped in some type of oil that was so delicious. I remember your mom as having such a nice tidy home and she was SO active, playing tennis and seemed to be a well-rounded wonderful mom, wife and very loved by all who knew her. I have been keeping you in my prayers and I am so sorry for your loss. Love to you my friend, Joy Ashby as you knew me! ;)

A lovely lady , in every way. The Riviere family lived down the street from my family growing up throughout the 60's, through 2010 when we had to sell the family home. I went to school with Susan and Rick. Many happy times were share by all of the neighbors and for so many years.
My sincere sympathy to Susan and Mr. Riviere and all of the grandchildren and many others that loved Mrs Riviere and pray for peace and light at this sad time.
The photo here is of our home at the top of the street , we will never forget the memories!
