Enid's lasting legacy transcends her amazing successes in writing Dallas political history. Many of us will remember her most as a witty, caring and resilient human being: wife, mother, grandmother, close friend. For me, she served as a wise mentor both in and outside the political arena and added much love to many of our family's celebrations.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
