Dennis Edmond Lingenfelder Sr., of Gluckstadt, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023 surrounded by his loving family at St. Dominic Hospital. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 6th at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation will be held at 9:30 am with the funeral service following at 11:00 am. Burial will be at 1:30 pm at Parkway Memorial Cemetery in Ridgeland.
Mr. Lingenfelder, affectionately known as “Pawpaw”, was born December 1, 1947, in Tampa, Florida to Charles and Evelyn Lingenfelder.
He retired from Tower Loan Corporation after 30+ years with the company. His love and devotion to his family was like no other. He had a love for people that was the perfect example of Mark 12:31 (…Love your neighbor as yourself..).
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Evelyn Lingenfelder and his son, Eddie Lingenfelder.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Peggy Lingenfelder of Gluckstadt, daughter Chandra Trammell (Stephen) of Gluckstadt and daughter in law Suzanne Lingenfelder of Ridgeland; grandchildren Kasey Hutton (Robert), Anna Claire Huff (Austin), Ally Lingenfelder, Shelby Humphries (Chandler) and Zac Trammell (Marla); great grandchildren Trace, James, John, Cash, Cooper, Ayla Rae and Annalise.
Serving as pall bearers are Zac Trammell, Robert Hutton, Austin Huff, Chandler Humphries, Christian Carter and Mason Sanford.
