Daniel Lee Rush. Born June 7, 1946 to Laura Elaine Rush and Merrill Lee Rush in Tulare, CA. Daniel’s love for animals motivated him to pursue a career in veterinary medicine where he practiced for many years in Tustin, CA. After his first career choice, he made the move to the business he owned until his passing, Interior Plant Design where he brightened the days of hundreds with his humor and uncanny smile. Daniel was a lover of God, family, and the outdoors. An avid fisherman and former Eagle Scout, the outdoors is where he spent all his free time during his later years. Dan and his wife Penny purchased a membership at Mountain Lakes Resort in Lytle Creek, CA. Nestled in the San Bernardino foothills above Fontana, Dan, Penny and their eight grandchildren spent weekends fishing, riding bikes, playing mini-golf, and swimming. Although, fish were rarely caught, the memories shared are everlasting. His family is saddened to announce the Lord took Daniel into his eternal loving arms on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at the young age of 68. Dan is survived by his wife Penny, his children Adam, Eddie, Jennifer, and Megan and his 8 grandchildren, Jade, Noah, Austin, Brooke, Avery, Sienna, Jordyn, and little Benjamen who’s middle name is Daniel in honor of Dan. May he rest in peace and always look down upon us.
