To the family of Ben and Marnell Cox. On behalf of myself and the Inland Empire Lighthouse for the Blind, please accept my most sincere sympathy to you over the passing of Marnell. Ben and Marnell were a huge part of our Lighthouse for the Blind family some years back. The love they shared together and graciously gave to everyone they came in contact with will never be forgotten by me. I truly enjoyed viewing the beautiful pictures you posted. I even saw Ben wearing a Lighthouse sweatshirt and the both of them pictured with a macrame wreath Ben made in our macrame class. Please know you are in my prayers for peace and comfort. Ben and Marne - "salt of the earth" folks!

To the Cox Family. So sorry for your loss. I know Marnell was the Matriarch of the family and will be dearly missed. There were wonderful family get togethers, swim parties, Holiday celebrations and the 4th of July with fireworks watched from the backyard of Ben & Marnell's, shared by many. Hold on to your treasured memories and may God Bless each of you and comfort you and give you strength during this time. You're in my heart & in my prayers. Love, Becky

Mom marne (to the grand kids & great grand children) is a legacy. She was warm, sweet & always made me feel at home, even when I was 1000+ miles away. Our times together faded to memories as a decade passed & her landline still rang, as she picked up to the sound of my voice! We’d reminisce, talk about the big 4th of July parties she used to host. With the great grand kids laying on the rocks sunbathing, jumping off the diving board into the crystal blue pool, sitting on the couches enjoying stories of her endeavors finding the various rocks & even an ostrich egg that always glistened on her shelves. Your sweet voice will be missed, I wish I had photos with you to share your vibrancy & your radiant glow you had for life. I’d tell you my accomplishments, I’m going to miss how you told me you were proud & to keep reaching for every dream & taking these chances. Forever in my heart 💜

I always thought that Aunt MARNELL was a “classy” lady. I will always remember her as my Elegant Aunt who lived in CA. I really enjoyed our visit to her and Ben’s in 1982. I am so glad that I got to talk to her right after (Daddy’s) Charles death. Rick and family our thoughts and prayers are with you.💕🙏.
