Betty Ilkka

Betty Ilkka, age 95, of Rochester Hills, passed away on April 20, 2019. She was born on February 4, 1924 in Hancock, Michigan. Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Gust Ilkka; and her sons, Robert and Kenneth Ilkka. She is survived by her children, Karen Ilkka, Eileen (Howard) Kelley, Tom Ilkka, Janice (Marvin) Fleming, Ray (Barbara) Ilkka, and Dianne (Doug Rogers) Ilkka; her 9 grandchildren; her 6 great grandchildren; her daughter in law, Somparn Ilkka; and her sister Barbara Chard. Betty was a longtime member of Abiding Presence Lutheran Church and always enjoyed working with her hands, whether it was crocheting, sewing, quilting, etc. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from 7-9 PM at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, MI. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 11 AM, with gathering beginning at 10:30 AM, at Abiding Presence Lutheran Church, 1550 Walton Blvd., Rochester Hills, MI.
