I was sadden to hear of Ron's passing, I had enjoyed working with Ron at Berg Steel for many years. Though he was in the states and I in Canada, we would talk weekly in regards to customers and life. We had stayed in contact after the Berg days, even to a few weeks prior to his passing. I will miss Ron, his humour and persistence of life.
I am sorry I can not attain

God Bless

Ron was the father of one of my best childhood friends, Joanna. He once drove a fair 20 miles out of his way to pick me up so that we could all spend a lovely day on the boat. I always remember him walking his dogs on CRBC, and much to my mother's dismay, always had a cooler of Coca-Cola for us kids. More than anything, I'm grateful he brought such an amazing daughter into the world. Rest in peace.

We worked with Ron for many years at Berg Steel. He was well liked and respected by all who knew him. He had many struggles with back pain, but he was always cheerful, and always had a positive attitude. We are very sorry he has passed and offer sincere condolences. He will be missed.

Rest In Peace.

Mark Berg.
