Beloved wife of Robert Gavette; loving mother of Keith (Ruslana) Lee, Kathy (Doyle) Wall, Keven (Brenda) Lee, Larry (Elaine) Gavette, and Vicki Gavette; caring grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren; sister of Helen Reed, CA (JoAnn) Nisley, and LC (Rosanne) Nisley. Wanda was predeceased by her parents Cecil and Alice (Helton) Nisley; and sisters Fran Mellon, Carol Williams, and Anna Webber.
Wanda was born Knoxville, TN on March 27, 1937. She graduated from Carter High School and moved to Michigan during her first marriage. Wanda married Robert Gavette on December 30, 1978 at Five Points Church in Pontiac, MI. She was a commercial relator with Taylor & Yancy Realty for many years. Wanda previously owned and operated Sun Valley Mobile Home Park in Jackson Michigan.
Wanda loved to volunteer her time for youth groups in the many church congregations she became a part of.
Wanda will be instate on Wednesday June 13th, 2018 from 11am until the time of service at noon at Woodside Bible Church located at 6600 Rochester Rd in Troy, MI. Interment at Ottawa Park Cemetery will be private.
