Sometimes in life, hearts just inexplicably connect. That is how I feel about “Uncle Bill”. From some of my first memories of Uncle Bill to my last, those memories are filled with love and smiles. He’d rib, tease, and chide you but it was always in a way you knew he’d equally love and support you.

Uncle Bill - your time on this earth was too short. So we will rely on our connected hearts to know you are still with all those who loved you in this life, myself included.

May you feel the love and light shining forth from this heart to yours. And may you know that our heavy hearts will feel lighter in time, as we continue to carry you with us, until we meet again. You and AJ are so loved.

Farewell to a terrific boss. I thoroughly enjoyed my four years in HR working for Bill and his team. He took a chance on a “kid” who desperately needed a better job and groomed me for a rewarding 32-year career at Parkedale. He was fair, fun, and a consummate professional. Including a few scrappy days, he was a great blessing in my life. One time when I complained about my workload, he added a project to teach me the theory of relativity. Good times, wonderful memories. I owe much of my success to Mr. Gongloff. My sincere condolences.

To me, he will always be "Uncle Bill" -- a thoughtful, funny and loving man whose genuine smiles, big laughs and strong hugs still warm my heart. He and Aunt Jan are there in so many beautiful memories that I've tucked away over the years, and I am grateful for those shared milestones and moments. Sending love, gratitude and comfort from afar.
