Virginia R. Roncevich

Virginia R. Roncevich, 80, of Rochester, PA., passed, away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Rochester Manor. Born April 23, 1943 in Hopewell Township, PA., She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary (Morrow) Hans.

Virginia lived her life devoted to her family. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren. She had a passion for country music and loved to sing and play guitar. Virginia also enjoyed spending time outdoors and gardening. She especially looked forward to the holidays to be together with her family.

Virginia was preceded in death by her beloved companion of 20 years, William T. Orzechowski in 2017, and her former husband and father of their five children, Robert W. Gottschalk, Sr. also three brothers, Russell Gates, Robert Gates, and Harry Gates, a daughter-in-law, Kim Gottschalk and a granddaughter, Lacey Taylor.

She is survived by her five children, Robert W. Gottschalk, Jr., and companion, Diana Cumming of East Palestine, Ohio, Dianne (George) Ruckert of Murrieta, CA., James (Donna) Gottschalk of Listie, PA., David (Bonnie) Gottschalk of Cranberry, PA., and Luanne (Doug) Taylor of Rochester, PA. Also surviving are her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother, Thomas (Ellie) Hans, lifelong friend Jeanne Boos, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends will be received on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, 273 Rt. 68 Rochester, PA 15074, from 12:00 PM till the time of service at 4:00 PM.

Virginia will be laid to rest at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester.
