Edna Gunske Wiles

Edna Gunske Wiles went to be with her lord on May 12, 2020. She was born in Darlington WI on August 20, 1923 to Robert and Minnie Swartz Williams. She moved to Rockford as a small child. Edna married Leonard Larson in 1942. She married Edward Gunske in 1954 and he predeceased her in 1998. In 1999 she married Paul Wiles and he predeceased her in 2007. Edna was a member of First Evangelical Free Church for many years. She was later a member of Maywood Free Church, and then Stonebridge Church. Edna Worked at Eclipse for 10 years, and retired from Sunstrand after 20 years of employment. She was a loving and caring mother, and grandmother that loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. The family of Edna would like to thank her caregivers at Wesley Willows for their many years of loving care. They were family to her and she was family to them. She is survived by her sons; Bill (Jo) and Jim Larson, daughter; Linda (Dave) Anderson, grandchildren; Michael (Denise,) Randy, Jim, Tom, and Hollie Larson, Tammi (Jim) Osborne, and Traci (Terry) Daringer, great grandchildren; Kira (Nick) Pollack, Kaila Osborne, Matthew (Jose) and Christopher Daringer, as well as Brandon, Amanda, Jemma, and Jorja Larson, stepchildren; Carolyn (Dave) Johnson, Pauline (Jeff) Fisher, David (Lynn) and Timothy Wiles, step grandchildren; Kevin (Amy) Johnson, Jennie (Walter) Sic, Emily (Stephen) Bashaw, Abigail (Adam) Banter, Ashley (Andrew) Giardino, Margaret (Taylor) Waspi, Courtney Wiles, Jessica (Robert) Klamm, James Dunn, Aaron Fisher and Scott (Erica) Fisher, as well as numerous step great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her grandson; Joey Larson, great grandson; Gregory, brothers; Jake and Dick Williams, and sisters; Beulah Murray, Fern Lowrey, and Mary Tunisen. Funeral Services for Edna are private to family with Burial at Willwood Cemetery with services performed by Pastor Scott Nesse from Stonebridge Church.
