Frank Peebles, age 83, of Melbourne, Florida entered his Heavenly Father’s arms on Wednesday morning, December 29, 2021. Born January 6, 1938 in Strong City, Kansas to Luther Edwin Peebles and Laura Williams Peebles. He grew up in Council Grove, Kansas which he affectionately called “God’s Country”.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Sharon Drake Peebles and 7 children, Terry Peebles Seguin

Peebles (Kathy) Melbourne FL, Robyn Bragg Palm Bay FL, Trent Peebles (Lexie) Melbourne FL. Is also survived by his brother,Don Peebles (Betty), sisters May Cullen and Sonja Block (Mike) and
many nieces and nephews. He is also the proud grandfather of 17 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren
and 1 great-great grandchild.
Frank was an active member and Deacon of First Baptist Church of Melbourne and also an active member of The Young at Heart Seniors Group at Church at Viera. He served his country in the Naval Reserves from 1954 to 1963. He later joined the team of Martin Marietta in Denver, Colorado and retired from Lockheed Martin at Kennedy Space Center after 42 years of service.
He was a life-long Denver Broncos Fan and enjoyed being a season ticket holder as well as collecting
Denver Broncos memorabilia.
Frank was an exceptional man who Loved God and Loved people. His spiritual gift was clearly‘Service to others” which was evident to the very moment God took him home.
Frank lived his life full of joy and daily exemplified the Fruit of the Spirit; love, joy, peace, patience,
kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Galatians 5:22-23.
The void he leaves in the lives of those who loved him will be deeply felt. However, to paraphrase a
quote by Billy Graham, “Frank is now more alive than he has ever been…he has gone into the presence
of God.”
A Celebration of Life Service to honor Frank will be held January 2, 2022 at the First Baptist Church of Melbourne, 3301 Dairy Rd., Melbourne, FL 32904. There will be a Visitation at 1:30pm and Celebration of Life at 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Frank Peebles to First Baptist Church of Melbourne, Greater Things Fund.
