Lissa will be lovingly remembered by her husband (Bill) and her many friends near, far and wide. She was pre-deceased by her loving daughter (Lindsey), her parents Papa (Captain Wade Hiller. USN) and Mama (Patrica).
Lissa was born in Washington, DC in 1950. Graduated high school in Arlington, VA. She met her future husband in 1970. After a short romance, Lissa and William were married in 1971 at the American Cathedral on Ave George V in Paris, France, attended by many close relatives and friends from the American Embassy. She attended The University of Texas in Arlington, TX. Lissa had many adventures in her life with travel, snow skiing, collecting sea shells on Sanibel Island, cruising the Caribbean, a craft business owner, fundraising for the MS Society and making greeting cards. She was a wonderful wife, loving mother and a brave person. She was very outgoing and never met a stranger.
Friends will be received at a Celebration of Life Service at Florida Memorial Gardens’ Life Event Center (5950 South US Hwy 1, Rockledge, FL 32955) on Thursday, December 8, 2022 starting at 10 am. Visitation, a short service, interment and refreshments/food will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the MS Society in Maitland, FL in Lissa’s name would be greatly appreciated.
