Rodney L. Pollak passed from this planet into God’s Kingdom Friday, May 18, 2018. He was born on February 16, 1934 in Indianapolis, Indiana the son of Michael and Helen Wayt Pollak (both deceased).He grew up in Central Indiana and was a part of the 1953 Graduating Class at Rushville High School. He attended De Vry College in Chicago until he was drafted into the US Army where he served basic training at Fort Wood then in England near London for two years. When he was discharged he joined the US Air Force and served for twenty three years in various locations stateside as well as France, Philippines and Germany.
He is survived by his wife of sixty plus years, Shirley Temple Pollak, two daughters, Debi Long (Jim), Morena Cameron, son C. David Pollak (Tina), four sisters Mary, Judy Walker, of NC, Patricia Chambers FL and Susan of TN. One sister, Carolyn, and one son Steven, preceded him in death. He has cousins and eleven Grand children, and eight Great grand children as well as a sister-in –law and her husband who mourn his passing.
