

MARY AGNES McDONALD, entered her eternal home on Monday, Aug. 26, 2013. Born Dec. 1, 1924, in Bangor Maine, she was a daughter of the late Henry F. Durant and Agnes M. Durant. Mary was active and always on the go. She enjoyed singing, dancing, traveling, and picnics. "Mary was able to enjoy her life to the fullest, and she made an impression on everyone she met." Mary was a Cosmetologist for 25 years at salons in New York, Southern California, and Indiana. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church for over 30 years where she was active in Funeral Choir, Sunday Choir, and Rosary services. Mary was a member of Turner's Gym and Sweet Adelines for several years after retirement. Surviving are her daughters, Therese Holland (Glen) of Sacramento, Calif., Maureen McDonald of Napa, Calif. and Margaret Ferguson (Robert) of Fort Wayne; sons, Paul McDonald of Napa, Calif. and Patrick McDonald of Seattle, Wash.; sister Yvonne Weiser of Florida; brother, Donald Durant of Florida; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by husband, Harry G. McDonald; and brothers, Walter Durant and James Durant. A celebration of Mary's life and her heavenly-going is 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, at St. Jude Catholic Church, 2155 Randallia Drive. Burial immediately following in the Catholic Cemetery, 3500 Lake Ave.
