So many good memories,  always had a good time,, laughing, joking,  playing dominos, pitching horse shoe, never a dull moment !  Laurie and Bob

I'm not the type of person that runs right out & tries to get "chummy" with the neighbors, but Chuck & Betty made it really easy!!  Living next door to them was the best thing about our neighborhood & I'm so glad I did!  We swapped dog-sitting duties, & sat out by the fires.  My best, possibly funniest memory......Chuck had just come back from salmon fishing, so he called me & my daughter over & said to her "you wanna see where salmon eggs come from?" And he showed her how to just put her hand on the fish & push down toward the tail.  While we're going "Eeewww gross!!!" Needless to say we laughed our butts off!!! (Then, of course she wanted to do it again!).  We'll miss you, Chuck.  RIP.  Laura, Sam, & Carol (the Rautio girls)

Our greatest memories are really too many to list! But I guess the one that we talk about the most and what I was thinking about last night ....we all really enjoyed rideing our bikes up to the UP,  and of course I would drive both dale and Charlie in sane with having to walk every trail we would find to see the beautiful waterfalls, (I know Charlie enjoyed that too lol) at one of those waterfalls the was another trail that kept on going of course I wanted to follow it and it led us out to the lake, it was covered with rocks lots of beautiful rocks! Well Charlie and I started picking up some rocks and we both had our pockets bulging with rocks, we started heading back the long trail then hiking up the million stairs... when dale notices a sign that said do not remove any rocks😮 oops bout that time a park Ranger happens to be going down those stairs and he is very friendly and very talkative lol.... so Charlie and I trying our best to conceal our bulging pockets lmao and dale had a good laugh at us lol I'm sure those rocks are still at the house somewhere! So if you come across some pretty rocks now you'll know why and were they came from! Charlie you will be so greatly missed! You were such an out going person, who really enjoyed life to the fullest! May you rest in peace until we meet again!
