So sorry for your lost me a Vila were sorry we wasn't their to say good by to Steve are health limit us to stay close to home these days. It's hard to believe it been over 40 yrs since I moved from the area . In because of that I don't get news on a timely basis. So I'm so so sorry he really be missed. BOB & VILA WOLFE


Steve was a very good man.  My family met him when we were all teenagers.  My dad , Russ Giallombardo, was the uncle to John, Joe, and Jerry (my cousins) and Steve became an “adopted nephew.”   He and Uncle Russ had a close bond.  Steve and my cousins would go on fishing trips and boat rides on the lake.  We just called them “the boys “.   Lots of laughs and good memories.  When my dad died, Steve was there for both the visitation and the funeral.  Family was very important to him.  If somebody needed help, Steve was always right there. He was genuinely a really good guy. He will be missed.

Very sad news. Though its been many years, I had the pleasure of working with Steve. He was a skilled mechanic with an easygoing, fun loving attitude. One of those guys that you can’t say a bad word about.  Rest In Peace Brother

So many memories from the 70s/early 80s when we lived across from each other on Essex, most centered on you and Mark and fishing or bowling. Sincere condolences to the family as they navigate this tough time.

So many fond memories.  One that brings a smile to my face was meeting him at the NASCAR races at M.I.S.  He invited us down to where they were sitting and shared his shrimp cocktail.  Steve sure had class.  My first venison back strap was one he prepared at his house on the grill.  Delicious!  Larry told me that one time they were heading to Caseville at night on their motorcycles (Steve had a Sportster and Larry had a Honda at the time) and Steve ran out of gas half way up there.  Well Larry got out his tool bag and started taking his gas tank off to pour some gas in Steve's tank and he looked over and Steve was snoring in the ditch.  Larry was like, hey  wake up.  LOL,  always a good time when Steve was around.  R.I.P. Steve.  Until we meet again you will remain in all of our hearts.

Condolences  to the entire family. Steve was a childhood buddy, we grew up on Fern St together always sharing a laugh along with neighborhood adventures. He was  a good natured friend & classmate from Washington-Guest-RHS….

I’m sorry for the loss of Steve he was always so kind and loving. He had a great laugh and I love telling the store of him cooking for my wedding and everyone thing they where eating mushrooms when it was escargot. 

We  miss you so much, Steve.  You were not just my cousin. You were my second brother.  Many warm and loving memories will assure you are never far away from me. Thank you for being there for me in the hard times and in the good times.  

I’m so so sorry Sue and family I Pray for y’all to find comfort and peace during this difficult journey sending hugs
