My favorite memory of Aunt Antoinette involves all the Schwing's and Aunt Antoinette's family gatherings:

Christmas eve dinners -- The amazing italian christmas eve dinners, the card games and the one time Aunt Antoineet dared me and I ate smoked eel (like eating a cigar), which influenced me to marry an italian girl, as the heart sits above the stomach.

Greeted by Aunt Antoinette with the pinch of the cheeks, which I now would welcome and understand!

How only her dad could cut my hair! One of the few I trusted!

Playing hockey in the hall way with Louis (always the better athlete), and Aunt Antoinette never minding how many scuffs we created

Uncle Lou's horseshoe shoses (brown slippers)

Michigan Rummy!

The funniest guy in the room! Dave

Grandmap D's Elephant Collection -- I see peggy channeling that vibe soon.

Pretty much my favorite childhood family gathering memories involve the Schwing family!

All our prayers and love, Steve, Joanne, Kirsten, Lauren Errick

I have such fond memories of celebrating holidays, especially Christmas and the 4th of July with Aunt Antoinette and Uncle Lou. I only realized as an adult all the effort my aunt put in to making our family gatherings very special.
My condolences to my cousins and their children. May you all take comfort in your loving memories of your mom and grandmother. God bless
