As a military family, Ray enjoyed living in different places, particularly their two stays in England for a total of six years which had a great influence on his love of music, traveling and adventure. Ray attended Central High School, north of London from 1967 until 1970. While playing on sport teams in high school, he enjoyed traveling throughout Europe to compete. The family moved to Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio when Ray was a high school junior and graduated from Stebbins High School.

The pinnacle job of his career was working for an Israel based company, the Ex Libris Group, for the past 10 years as Director of Sales.
Ray’s greatest joy came from being a wonderful loving husband, a proud and devoted father to his two sons and new daughter-in-law. He had a large extended family of siblings, sisters-in- law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews whom he adored. Ray had many friends that he valued and kept close over the years. Ray loved to play golf and made a hole in 1 on #17 while playing with his beloved golf group at Horseshoe Bend Country Club where he was a member. Ray was an avid and dedicated Boston Red Sox fan.
