Rosemarie Donnelly, age 73, of Sun City Center, Florida, formerly a resident of Schenectady, New York, Guilderland, New York and Amsterdam New York, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 24, 2016. She is the beloved wife of nearly 50 years of Bernard Donnelly; devoted mother of Kevin (Lauren) Donnelly; loving grandmother of Olivia and Sawyer Donnelly and sister of Paul (Mary Ellen) Jankowski. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Rosemarie was a graduate of Amsterdam High School, Albany Business College, Russel Sage College and State University of New York at Albany. She was employed as a secretary at General Electric in Schenectady NY. She later pursued her passion as a teacher and taught in the Amsterdam School District and Brunswick Central Schools. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Prince of Peace Catholic Church 702 Valley Forge Blvd., Sun City Center, Fl on Thursday, Jun 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Rosemarie enjoyed music, movies, playing golf, dancing and taking cruises. In her memory, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
