I am very sorry to hear of Kathy's passing. Kathy and I grew up within a few miles of each other, attended Heaters United Methodist Church and went to Flatwoods Elementary, Sutton Junior High and Braxton County High School together. She was hard to keep up with but when we did get to see one another the laughing (and giggling) was on. I will always remember her laugh as well as her smile . . . great memories.

Our kids grew up together and graduated high school together. Kathy always had a smile on her face whenever I saw her. She always gave me a hug. I'm truly going to miss you Kathy.

Kathy, you will be dearly missed by all who knew you. We worked together for years and you always were smiling and lending a listening ear. You were a beautiful person inside and out & I am a better person for knowing you. May God comfort your friends and family until we all meet again. What a great reunion that will be❣

You were my best friend and partner in crime when we worked at Walmart. All the practical jokes we played on people, we were always getting into trouble over something, we had a blast. All the yard sales we went to and all the talks on the telephone turned into hours of laughing, reminiscing and crying on each other's shoulders and telling each other things that only me and you know. You have been through more sadness and sorrow and struggles than anyone I have ever known and still come out smiling. You had a heart of gold. You were such a strong woman, then came the time you were tired of being strong. You were such a great & loyal friend and my life will never be the same without you. I know you will send me signs that you are still with me and I will know it's you. I will alway miss & love you "Sunshine" .
