Cindy Lee Derington, age 63, of Cahokia, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 surrounded by her family. Cindy was born January 24, 1959 to George and Mary (nee Coons) Cook whom have preceded her in death along with a sister Barbara McMahan. Cindy leaves behind her loving husband, Louis Derington, Jr and her beloved children, Stacy Derington, Mandy Range and Louis Derington, III. An adoring grandma to Mariah Faulkner, Steven Dunn, Andrew Starns and Donivan Range and her great grandchildren, Gianna and Trae, Jr. Faulkner and Amara Dunn. Cindy also leaves behind her siblings, Bill Cook, Ron and Mike Lundry and Betty Lotspeich. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Cindy dedicated her life to raising and loving her family. Family also came first no matter what. She was an amazing cook and her specialty was home-style meals with all the fixings. She enjoyed gardening and had quite the green thumb caring for her many plants. A visitation for Cindy will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63125, followed by a Funeral Service at 7:00 PM.
