Donald T. "Tim" Brendel of St. Louis, MO. Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, entered eternal life on Thursday April 1, 2021.

He was born on August 26, 1953 in St. Louis, MO to the late Eugene Brendel and the late Mary (nee Miles) Genzler; beloved husband of the late Janet L. Brendel (nee Hughes); loving father of Kelly (Michael) Link, Elizabeth (Charles Jones) Hammack and Katie (Dwight) Carpenter; loving grandfather of Courtney, Emily and Charlie Link, Olivia and Xander Carpenter; brother of Pat (Cindy) Brendel, Scott (Shelly) Brendel and the late Terry Brendel; dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Tim loved his family and enjoyed discussing and learning history. He loved to barbeque, enjoyed fishing and was a proud graduate of SLUH. Before his health became an issue he was active in St. Joan of Arc Choir.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 7, 2021 from 4-8 pm at the Hoffmeister Colonial Chapel, 6464 Chippewa, St. Louis, MO. Funeral mass will be Celebrated on Thursday April 8, 2021, 10:00 am at St. Joan of Arc Parish, 5800 Oleatha Ave. at Hampton; St. Louis, MO 63139. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
