Helen Renee Susan Ieans was born July 9, 1963 at Fort Carson Hospital, Fort Carson Colorado, El Paso County Colorado. The daughter of John Henry Ieans and Helen Faye Butler Ieans. Her family has always called her “Renee”. Renee was always happy to say she was an Army Brat. She loved the excitement of meeting new people at all of the different duty stations where her dad was assigned. She celebrated her second birthday under the big clock in the Nuremburg Germany train station. Renee readily picked up the local languages and accents and enjoyed her skill in speaking with the local population.
Renee loved fashion, cosmetics, dancing, and track and field. Her track skills in high school advanced her to MSHSAA two consecutive years in the 100 meter dash and the four by 100 relay representing Parkway Central High School.
She was outgoing and vivacious. We will always remember her love of fashion and cosmetics especially makeup. She wanted to make sure if you were wearing makeup that it was applied correctly.
She is preceded in death by her father John Henry Ieans.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Julia Renee Green; mother Helen Faye Ieans; brothers John Ieans; Edward (Juliet) Ieans; Jerald Ieans; grandmother Easter Butler; numerous aunts, one uncle, one niece, numerous cousins and friends.
