Michael Thomas Moore is resting peacefully in the arms of his Savior on Friday, May 22 at the age of 55. Cherished husband of Linda K. Moore (nee; Walters); loving father of Matthew (Marissa) Moore and step-father of Jacob Walters; soon-to-be Pap-Pap to his first grandson; beloved son of Dale and Mary Moore; dear brother of Debbie (Jeff) Cattran and Mark (Trish) Moore; dear cousin of Tom (Brenda) Richmond and Tim (Terry) Richmond; loving uncle and friend to many. Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents Thomas and Mary Henderson and his aunt Patricia Richmond.
Mike was a graduate of Amelia High School in Amelia, OH where he played Baritone for the Marching Barons. Mike was a founding member of Jeeping Mid Rivers and C.O.R.A. On any given weekend, you could find him on the trails or hosting friends for a cookout or game night. Mike had 4 loves in his lifetime: his Savior, his family, his Jeep and his animals. His son Matthew was his pride and joy. Mike loved spending time with Matt and Matt’s race team and watching Matt race his Camaro. He and Jacob were best buds who loved to tease each other endlessly. Mike was very close to his parents, his sister and Jeff; they enjoyed spending holidays together or an evening playing games. He faced many challenges in his life, yet he always had a positive outlook on life and an upbeat attitude. Mike loved life and will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.
A Memorial Service will be held at Harvester Christian Church on Wednesday, May 27th at 1:00 P.M.
In memory of Mike, please make memorial donations to the National Kidney Foundation.
