FLOWERS, Ross W., on Thursday, November 8, 2018. Dear son of the late Roscoe and Marcell (nee Wittman); longtime partner and best friend of the late Rob Boyle; loving "Daddy" to his late dogs- P.D. and Delta.

Ross is a man that we will all hold dear in our hearts and we all have our own unique experiences to cherish. He was a kind, loving man with many passions. Ross loved to garden and took great pride in the plants he nurtured from seed to bloom. He loved cars, but not just any car, his cars. The sporty or classics Ross would pamper, show-off and brag about the power they had and how much he loved hearing the sound of the motor when he was driving. Ross was also a wonderful cook and loved entertaining friends to show off his culinary prowess. He also loved and shared the last years of his life with is faithful four legged companion P.D. who was sadly laid to rest 3 months prior to the day of his own passing.

As mentioned, Ross had many loves and passions however, Ross dearly and wholeheartedly loved his best friend Rob, who preceded him in death on July 29, 2015. Ross will be missed and his stories will be treasured for as long as we can hold them but we also know he is now reunited with his loved ones and his spirit is shining through every beautiful flower we see, every shiny sports or classic car that passes us by and by every great meal we have with friends and family.

Goodbye Ross, we love you.

Please allow me to offer my condolences upon Ross's passing. Although my friendship with Ross lasted only a brief time, his positive and nurturing impact on me was just what I needed during a difficult period in my life, 17 years ago. I retired recently and have decided to "google" the names of people in my past whom I've lost touch with. When I entered Ross's name and his obituary came up, I was very sad to see it. But when I read the beautifully written obituary and scrolled through the wonderful photos and comments, I felt so lucky to have had Ross in my life. What a kind and caring man he was--to so many of us.

RIP, Ross.
