Ted's family.
Just seeing your dad's smile has brought about a lot of great memories for me. The kindness your family shared with our father and our family and the memories we have growing up and around the restaurant are cherished forever. From the soups, to the fried chicken and shrimp, the front of bar ice machine, the tiny bathrooms, the beer out the side door, the side exit to the barbershop, the back room receptions, but mostly the love that came from all of you. Thank you for all of that. May Ted rest in peace.

Dear Rauhut’s
I learned of Ted’s passing in the paper, my wife noticed and asked, “You worked at Theodor’s?”
My friend Rick and I bused tables while in high school in the early 80’s.
Ted (and everyone) was a great guy. I enjoyed talking to him, he was always very kind.
I remember spilling tartar sauce on a fur coat, he told me it would be okay…
Also, Margaret trying to get me to like her liver and onions, it always smelled good, but, sorry..
My wife and I went back to the building that was “Theodor’s” one summer evening while visiting the old neighborhood. I had a lot of fond memories that I shared with her, but it just wasn’t the same.

My condolences, and prayers of peace.
