OBITUARY

Timothy John Haringa

October 31, 1979May 15, 2019

Timothy John Haringa was born on October 31st, 1979 and sadly he passed on May 15th, 2019.

Tim’s family will miss him immensely and the special spark he brought to the world will always be remembered and cherished.

God took Tim home today, and I know heaven is smiling. Tim was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend - and that encompasses almost everyone he ever met. He loved his family and friends fiercely, which is evidenced by how much he is missed.

Tim enjoyed soccer, Star Trek, the Broncos, candy, beef jerky, the Dutch, steak with A1 sauce, and many more things; but he LOVED books. He was an avid reader of anything and prolific writer of poetry and short stories. He would share books with friends and family when he sensed they were struggling and when he saw they were happy. His insight and intuition usually led to a perfectly timed “you ok?” text when it was needed by those around him, and his wit helped all he knew laugh and not take the world so seriously.

The world lost a warrior today, but heaven gained a champion. Tim leaves behind sad but grateful parents, siblings, family, and friends; he leaves behind a legacy of struggle and strength, battles and triumph, and of a giving and selfless heart that brightened the world for everyone that met him.

You are loved Tim. Thank you. Now go take Ranger for a walk.

I met Tim once, at our mutual friend's, Amber and Charles', wedding. I remember him vividly running around trying to make sure his friends had everything they needed for a lovely wedding. Then he came to our table, all stranger's to him, and sat down and got to know each one of us and shared the evening with us. He brought joy to us all that day. I am sad that Tim has left us but to have a stranger remember you from one evening due to your kindness and love for your friend's says something wonderful about Tim.

In the first years of Tim's life he was my Timothy. After I got engaged he said, i guess I'll have to wear a tux to walk you down or be the best man. I loved Timothy with all my heart. Only cousins but he was my boy, glad they didn't name him Martin Luther. Janie will understand that one. Prayers to you, Mr Sunshine. I love you

Mission trips! He always enjoyed the food, and he got large portions, the laughter, the accomplishment of caring for others!

The way we laugh for hours over nonsense, your sweet texts, the songs you always sent, and so much more. You are the love of my life, and you are my everything. I will be longing to be by your side again. Our journey isn't over! I love you so much baby and I miss you
