Georgie's smile, quiet kindness, and humor will be the memories of my cousin. Wonderful memories of the good times - the family reunions that meant so much to me. Marilyn, Ricky, and Sherrie, and Estelle, too, I'm thinking of you and sharing the loss of a wonderful person.

With heavy heart, Patti and I share the family's sorrow. Uncle George was by far our favorite.... there are so many great memories we have of him and our families. These memories will be cherished in our hearts, and what better way to keep his spirit alive.

I always found it easy to love all of the members of the Freedland family but somehow “Georgie” was my favorite. I always enjoyed seeing him and Marilyn while we were all living in Winthrop in the mid 1950's. He was always so full of life and easy to get along with. As the years went on I saw him less and less but the warm memories of the times I spent with him and his family never left me. And even though I hadn't seen him much recently I will miss him a lot, knowing that I will never see him again.

I remember a eulogy I once heard where the Rabbi said “In life parents live for their children but in death they live through their children”. From what I remember of my visits with Sherrie and Eric I am certain that their lives will always reflect the values of their father.

God Bless you all!

With all my love to Marilyn, Sherrie, Eric and the entire family.
