Anderson Winfield Robertson

Anderson Winfield Robertson (Andy) passed away June 18, 2020 at his home, in Millcreek Ut., surrounded by his family.
Andy was born in Logan, Utah, September 19, 1938 to Von H. and C. Vilda Robertson, the third of four boys. He grew up in Logan, Provo, and Salt Lake City, and graduated from South High School. He filled a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to the Northwestern States. On return he served in the Utah Air Guard while starting his studies at the University of Utah.
Andy was introduced to Elisa Clark at an LDSSA Dance. They married on June 28, 1963, at the Salt Lake City Temple. He received his Masters Of Social Work from Fresno State College. worked at Orange County Social Services, and worked for LDS Social Services in Preston and Idaho Falls Idaho, and Rapid City South Dakota, becoming a member of AMCAP. In 1976 he moved his family back to Salt Lake City, to help care for aging family members; was self-employed consulting in nursing homes, then doing the same for the State of Utah Health Department, and later transitioned to the University of Utah Hospital.
Among many other callings in the various wards they lived in, Andy and Lisa filled a Service Mission to Anchorage Alaska, 2003-2005. From 2006 to 2010 they filled service callings in Salt Lake City with the Addiction Recovery programs.
Andy loved to travel and see the world. He especially valued his association with his extended family, in-laws, and in particular his Heaton Cousins. Most of all he loved doing church work and being with the members of the church.
Andy and Lisa are the parents of seven children: Stephanie (Mark), Richard (Katy), John (Allana), Mark, Curtis (Marissa), Heather (Aaron), and Gwendolyn (Jeremy); and 14 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by three grandchildren. He is survived by his brothers Hayward Stewart (Myrna), Julian Von (Barbara), and David Franklin (Mary Lynn).
Services will be on Saturday, June 27. A viewing at the Valley View First Ward Building, on 2000 east and 3900 south, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. Grave side services will be held at 12:00 pm, at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 Highland Drive, SLC, UT.
