Dear Cuthbert Family,
I am also grateful for your Mom's example I have remembered many thoughts and principles and practices Sister Cuthbert shared with us, controlling tempers, taking care of the body also effects how the spirit feels, another how she grew a beautiful rose garden by singing to her roses.
As sister missionaries, Sister Cuthbert and President was so thoughtful to create special seminars just for the sisters. A little break, to rejuvenate the body and spirit. My love, to your family for sharing the tender part of your life with us the missionaries. That time has had great meaning for the rest of our lives. Carol (Cherrington) Jackson

We are grateful for the great influence and example that Muriel showed to us while serving in Edinburgh. We have many fond memories of her great sense of humour and practical nature as well as her patience and strong testimony which she shared unselfishly. Our thoughts are with the family at this time.

I was sorry to hear of the passing of Muriel Cuthbert. Pres. and Sister Cuthbert were in the Mission Home when I joined the Church in 1976 in Edinburgh. I remember teaching one of her children in the Sunday School class.
Derick and Muriel were a great inspiration to me in my early days in the Church. Bro. Gilbert Williamson.

My wife Marlyn and I are grateful for Sister Cuthbert's generous and kind spirit when we served in Edinburgh Branch. We still treasure a copy of a church movie made when the Cuthbert's served in Scotland. Sister Cuthbert is seen climbing the steps of Edinburgh Castle with two of her children along with Marlyn and our little two. We fondly remember her loving, practical no-nonsense and humorous approach to life. A great soul and a great legacy. We send our affections to her family. I have fond memories of Muriel as we were part of
fthe Singing Mothers who travelled.with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir across the major cities of U.K. I was one of six sisters from Dundee.
Mary Roy and Charlotte Ross are still alive and living in Scotland. Mary's son married Charlottes daughter. They were missionary parents in Canada and they recently completed calling as Preston Temple's President and Sister couple.
