Nancy Ann Price Womack

Memorial services will be 3 pm Sunday, January 13, 2019 at the First Christian Church with Rev. Brenda Warren officiating.

Nancy was born August 24, 1930 in Del Rio, Texas to Ralph and Claudia Price. She graduated from Corpus Christi High School and went on to receive her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from UTMB in 1952. She married Dr. William T. Womack on August 21, 1954 and together they raised five children. Nancy helped her husband with his very successful medical practice and family ranching business. She was a nurse, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and community volunteer. Nancy served as a Brownie Leader for many years, taught Sunday school at First Christian Church for 35 years, volunteered with Travis Elementary PTA for 20 years, and was a docent volunteer at Fort Concho.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years and 5 months, Dr. William Thomas Womack; five children: Claudia Womack Cash and husband, Lin; Lisa Womack Galewsky and husband, Andy; Amy Womack Mason and husband, Gary; Christopher Womack and wife, Diane; and Gina Womack Karr and husband, Neil; ten grandchildren: David Galewsky, Alexandra Galewsky, Marshall Cash, Brian Cash, Carson Womack, Rachel Mason, Blake Mason, Cade Womack, Kylie Karr and Colby Karr; and two great grandchildren: Wyatt and Lyle Galewsky.

Memorials may be made to the Library of your choice, First Christian Church or Ft. Concho.
