Amada Rodriguez, beloved mother and grandmother, entered rest on March 31, 2013 at the age of 95. A native of San Antonio, she was born to Pedro and Guadalupe Ramirez on May 12, 1917. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jose C. Rodriguez; sister, Guadalupe Dominguez; brothers, Trinidad, Agapito, Enrique and Pedro Ramirez, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Olivia R. De La O and husband William De La O, Sr.; son, Roberto R. Rodriguez and wife Anita Rodriguez; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great -great grandchild. The family will receive friends at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 5, 2013 at Holy Name Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to Mass. Interment will follow in San Jose Burial Park. The family extends a special thank you to the staff with Lighthouse Hospice for their special care.
