Azucena Soto Moreno

Azucena S. Moreno born on August 17, 1931 went to be with the Lord on June 16, 2018. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Ramiro Moreno; sister Evangeline Fuentes and mother Sara Esquivel. She is survived by her children Ramiro Moreno (Beatriz), Ricardo Moreno (Pat), Rene Moreno & Olivia Louise Strange (Denise); 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to share a special Thank You to Inspiration Hills nurses and staff for all that they do. Azucena enjoyed spending time with family. She had a passion for reading, learning and teaching. She was a teacher with Edgewood I.S.D and loved it. Azucena will truly be missed by family and friends. The family would like to extend their sincerest thank you to the staff at Dialysis West for their care and attention. A visitation will be on Wednesday June 20, 2018 at 5 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Trevino funeral home on 226 Cupples Rd. On Thursday June 21, 2018 a funeral procession will depart at 9:30 am for a Mass at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment at Chapel Hill Cemetery on Gibbs Sprawl Rd.
