

Born in San Antonio, Texas, she was the daughter of Alfred and Alice Bitzkie. She graduated from Jefferson High School and worked at Handy Andy, The Northside Reporter, Morton’s and lastly with Biesenbach Inc. She earned several awards due to her dedication and was honored as the WOAI’s Working Woman of the Day in 1969.
She enjoyed her animals, especially her birds, scratch-offs and her grandchildren, Donnie, Cheyene, Audie and her furry grandpuppies. She will be remembered for her amazing love of family, her fried jalapenos, her adult sense of humor and the ability to make just about anyone laugh.
She is survived by her sister, Joan Crider and her son and daughter, Matthew Stoddard and Amanda Green; her grandchildren: Cheyene, Donnie, and Audie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Stoddard and her mother and father, Alice and Alfred Bitzkie and her brother, Ray William Bitzkie.
Her Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 14th at Amanda and James Green’s home on 6761 Stonykirk at 4pm – TBD. Please dress colorfully; for those of you who knew her well, blue and butterflies were kind of her thing. Food and beverages will be provided.
