Charles Robert “Poppy” Spang Jr departed on August 5, 2018 in San Antonio, TX. He was born on July 26, 1923 in Victoria, TX to Charles and Helen Spang. He is preceded in death by his wife Helen L. Spang. Charles was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather as well as a wonderful friend. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Visitation will begin on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. at Sunset Funeral Home with the service beginning at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
