Every Sunday, it was a given that Tía Chelo and Tio Oscar would come over to see my grandparents. Whether it was to bathe my Grandma or to visit, their visits always brought them so much joy. It was a pleasure to see then when I visited my grandparents. Tía Chelo was such a beautiful and genuine soul that will be greatly missed. Much love to the family and may her legacy live on through y’all!

Our deepest condolences are with all of you during this time. We wish we could be there with you all. I still remember the many times I would stay with Grandma and Grandpa when Jocelynn and I would come to San Antonio. I would sit in the kitchen while she made her amazing food while teaching me how to cook. She taught me so much growing up and I will always miss her smile. God gained an amazing angel. We love you all and miss you so much. God Bless

Every Sunday Tia Chelo would come over to bathe my grandma and visit with her. My favorite memory is hearing them talk and show each other pictures —old and new. One time Tia and Tio came over when I was making dinner for my Grandparents and so of course I made enough for them too. As Tia ate, she told me about her career as a nutritionist and about the importance of cooking and knowing what ingredients are good for you. I will miss Tia Chelo but I know she lives on through all of her beautiful children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Tio Oscar, my prayers are with you, I wish I could give you the biggest hug right now. Love you all!

My sincerest condolences to the entire family. I was blessed to know ‘Tia Chelo’ and the entire family through my friendship with Jesse and Adelina Hernandez. I have such wonderful memories that I have always cherished. Tia Chelo was always so wonderfully kind and treated me with the same love she had for her family. My prayers are with the entire family. Sending many hugs and much love.

We have lost a beautiful person when we lost Chelo Dávila. She lit up the room when she entered. We love you and you remain in our heart. Till we meet again.

Our sister has gone to glory but will never be forgotten by those who knew her. Chelo would light up the room whenever we were together, made us laugh until we cried. Her kindness and generosity were unmatched and will be dearly missed.

Our condolences are with the family and pray that Our Lord will lighten your heavy sorrow of loosing your loved one,
